Introduction:
The Indian Mathematical Modeling Challenge is the official National Competition designed to serve as the qualifying stage for the International Mathematical Modeling Challenge (IMMC) organized by The Consortium for Mathematics and Its Applications.
There is only one stage, each team will be given 5 days to solve the annual problem and submit their solution online.
Indian Mathematical Modeling Challenge (India Mathematics Team A & B Selection):
Operating in teams, comprising up to four students from the same school, participants must work collaboratively to solve a mathematical problem. Constrained to a period of five consecutive days, teams unpack the given problem, hypothesise, test, and develop a working solution, before preparing and submitting a report on their solution to the judging panel.
IMMC (International Round):
The solutions from the top two teams (India Maths Team A and Team B) will be sent to the organizing comittee of International Mathematical Modeling Challenge. IMMC participants are awarded the following distinctions: Outstanding, Meritorious, Honorable Mention, or Successful Participant.
